This was the first Alex Michaelides book that I've read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’ve been really into thrillers recently and was recommended The Maidens a couple of times, so I knew I needed to get my hands on it. Will Mariana find the answers to those questions before it's too late? ![]() Mariana becomes fixated on the murder and finds herself back at Cambridge (her alma mater), surrounded by questions. The Maidens follows Mariana Andros, a brilliant but troubled group therapist who learns that her niece Zoe's closest friend Tara has been murdered on the campus of Cambridge University.
